Download the I2O SCSI Miniport driver package called W2K_MP.EXE and save it to disk. 2. Double-click on the file W2K_MP.EXE and extract the files to an EMPTY directory. The directory C:\W2K_MP is selected by default. 3. Run the included executable file (SCSIMP.EXE) on a Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows ‘9x system to create the Windows 2000 SCSI Miniport Diskette (requires floppy diskette). 4. When running Windows 2000 Setup from a bootable CD, press F6 while as soon as the blue setup screen appears. If running setup from Windows NT Installation floppy diskettes, there is no need to press F6. 5. After device detection has completed, press S to select additional storage devices, then select Other. 6. Insert the I2O SCSI Miniport driver diskette, select the I2O Miniport driver, and continue with NT installation. NOTE: This driver is only to be used for the Windows 2000 installation process. Once Windows 2000 is installed, you should install the complete Windows 2000 OSM package. If there is a RAID Volume present during installation the user will be prompted for a path to the i2odisk.inf file.
